Ten Days

milosmokes125.jpgWell, this is my tenth day off cigarettes. I’m hoping that my ability to produce sentences in sequences that (more or less) represent thoughts will return by the end of the week. In the meantime, I’ve just been watching as my entire smoking life flashes before my eyes. I even find myself envying little Milo, who is just setting off on his own nicotine-stained journey. (A little late, I might add. We start much earlier in Kentucky.)
