The Nip of the Iceberg?

It seems the FCC may have buried a report that found that local media ownership does lead to more local news coverage, as opponents of media consolidation have long contended. Barbara Boxer is on the case and consumer groups are calling for an investigation. Could get interesting, especially if they discover quashed research demonstrating that prime-time nipple exposure cures childhood obesity and autism.
