In the October issue of Creativity, I profiled 33-year-old director Joseph Kosinski, who created this gorgeously geeky trailer for the video game Gears of War. He’s also working on big-screen remakes of Logan’s Run and Tron—his style seems especially well-suited to the latter—so get ready to camp out for those tickets, nerds. Snark Week
The Gawker Guide to Conquering All Media hit bookstores this week. It looks good. It’s well-designed and funny. Plus, I have three gag-rich charticles inside. They aren’t individually signed, but if you correctly pick out just two of my contributions, I’ll try to score you some passes for the inevitable big-screen adaptation. If Blink can be a movie, this is a no-brainer.
