HOWTO get something posted to Boring Boring
We depend on the suggestions we get from you folks for the raw fodder for Boring Boring. We get a lot of suggested sites. Here's an explanation of the best way to get a link published here:

Dos:

  1. Do submit the link
    We cannot post a link if you do not send it to us.

  2. Do not describe the link
    Our Hotmail accounts get full if too many people send messages with lots and lots of text. And we never read the descriptions anyway.

  3. Do include your email
    It's optional, but it disturbs us to receive emails from people without email addresses. That's, like, Twilight Zone-freaky.

  4. Do not include your URL
    We'll just ignore it and link to one of our own sites.

Don'ts:

  1. Don't submit links
    See Do number 1: we didn't mean it. Receiving all those links is exhausting.

  2. If you must submit something, don't send it in without links
    If you saw something boring on TV or received something boring in email, you need to write about it at length and post it to your livejournal before suggesting it.
